Can The Trailer Valet XL Trailer Dolly Be Used To Push a Trailer Over a Lip Into a Garage?

Question:

I have a garage with a 1.75inch lip to get over when backing my trailer. The drive way surface is pavers. The boat is about 1800 lbs. The driveway is very flat other than the lip to get into the garage. Will the Trailer Valet XL push the trailer over the lip to get into the garage? It is difficult using the truck because of the tight turning required and would be much easier with the Trailer Valet if it would handle the height of the lip.

Since the Trailer Valet XL Trailer Dolly # TVXL2 is not designed to push a trailer over an incline more than 10 degrees in elevation change I do not see that it will be able to push over your lip of your garage without a ramp. If you can fashion a ramp that would not exceed the 10 degree slope you will be safe to use the Trailer Valet to move your trailer in and out of your garage.

Since your lip is 1-3/4" tall the ramp would not be very long.
