How Does The Hopkins Custom Tail Light Wiring Kit For Towed Vehicles Plug Into My 1998 Jeep Wrangler

Question:

Do they make a wiring adaptor for wiring harness. The wiring package says it will work on my jeep. But wiring connectors to brake wire plug not sa ame. Have 98 jeep wrangler. Got the hopkins kit 56202. But brake wiring plugs not same. Can you help

In order for this wiring harness to be installed correctly, you will have to unplug the brake wires on your 1998 Jeep Wrangler. Your wiring harness, the Hopkins Custom Tail Light Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles, part # HM56202, should have two plugs per each tail light. You will be plugging on end of your wiring harness into one end of your plugs. The next plug from your wiring harness should plug into the leftover plug. Once that is done, you will repeat the process for the other tail light.
