How Long Could 100 Amp Hour Battery Power 5 Amp Roof Vent

Question:
Trying to determine if a 12 volt 100 amp hour battery would be enough to run a maxx air deluxe for 8 hours. Unsure how to determine how many hours I can run the fan requiring 5amps.

Since the fan draws 5 amps that would mean that a 100 amp hour battery could power it for 20 hours. So 8 hours wouldn't be a problem at all. Basically you take the amp hours of the battery and divide it by the power draw of the accessory.
