Does Yakima MegaWarrior Cargo Basket Fit 2021 Tesla Model Y Factory Roof Rack

Question:

Will this rack fit the fixed crossbars of Tesla Model Y? Center spread is about 35.5, and outside edge from front to back is about 39 inch apart - has to line up exactly with a front and back of Yakima basket bars. Will it work? Does Megawarrior have two parts that telescope into each other to support small changes in distance from front to back pairs of basket bars to line up with the fixed crossbar? thx

I checked with Yakima for you, and can verify that yes, the MegaWarrior will fit your 2021 Tesla Model Y with a factory roof rack; the correct part number for this cargo basket is the following:

The MegaWarrior # Y07080 does have two parts that telescope into each other to put the basket together, but the way it mounts to your fixed crossbars are with a clamp that can be positioned at different points on the basket, which is why it is compatible with crossbar spreads between 30 and 38 inches.
