Three Crossbar Roof Rack for 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Hardtop for Carrying Roof Tent

Question:

Hi! We just bought a 2017 Jeep Sahara JKU with a hardtop and have an iKamper Mini rooftop tent 2-person that we had on our Mini Cooper Countryman. In researching your Rhino-Rack options for the Jeep, we saw a video that used the RRVA150B-3, RRRLT600H, and RRRLT600 components. We were considering a Gobi rack, but the Rhino-Rack options are significantly more appealing for our plans. We need the bars to each support 125 lbs static for the iKamper tent. The tent footprint is roughly 54inch wide by 57inch long. There two rail channels under the tent floor that run parallel to the longitude of the vehicle. What configuration would you recommend for that setup? Do we need the three bars or will 2 bars suffice? Can we configure the crossbars to support a roof footprint of approximately 48-54inch longitudinally? Thanks,

For your 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited with a hard top the three crossbar Rhino Rack roof rack part numbers # RRVA150B-3, # RRRLT600-3, # RRRJKB1, # RRQMFK05, and # RRQMVA05 would be an excellent option with more than enough weight capacity for the tent you have. Three bars is going to give you a more stable base for the tent so it is for sure the way to go.
