Will The Yakima OffGrid Roof Cargo Basket Still Fit a 2020 Acura MDX With the 18" Extension Kit?

I am wondering if the 18inch extension will fit and still allow proper opening of the back hatch

Yes, the 18" Extension # Y07108 that fits the Yakima OffGrid Roof Cargo Basket # Y07138 will fit and still allow for your 2020 Acura MDX to use the back hatch. With the extension you will need to have a crossbar spread of 30-38" to secure the basket to your crossbars. I have linked a video with the OffGrid Basket mounted on a 2016 MDX and you can see that there is still plenty of room both in front and behind the basket.
If you do not have any crossbars for your MDX, please let me know if you have the factory raised side rails or no rails at all and I can recommend a kit that will let you complete the installation.
