Question:

We have heat pads on our tanks and are working great, my question is what can we use on the section of tanks where you pull the handles plastic out to drain the tanks?, That will prevent freezing shut on us? We had to watch closely as that section had frozen ice on it from a storm and we could not pull the lever to drain our tanks before thawing with a small space heater hince watched closely.

To keep the valves of your black and gray water tanks you can use a smaller heating pad like the ThermaHeat RV Dump Valve Pipe and Elbow Heating Pad - 13" Long x 3" Wide # 277-000161 or the ThermaHeat RV Dump Valve Pipe and Elbow Heating Pad - 8" Long x 3" Wide # 277-000162. You can wrap these around the pipe close to the valve to keep it from freezing.
