Helpful Expert Reply:
For the bounce of the trailer the SumoSprings Trailer Helper Springs will greatly reduce the bounce as well as provide some added stability for the trailer. The Underslung Kit # TSS-106-40 will work if your axles sit on top of the leaf springs. The Overslung Kit # TSS-107-40 is the one you will need if the axle sits below the leaf springs.
If the bounce you are experiencing is in your 2018 Chevrolet Silverado the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs # SS95MR are the ones I recommend. These springs are a progressive type spring so it will compress to absorb bounce helping your shocks overcome the additional weight of the trailer. The springs are rated for up to 1,500lbs at 50% compression.
