I am buying a 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 AT4 with the standard bed 6.58foot bed and am looking for a low profile automatic cover with power retractable top. I like the Pace Edwards but am wondering how many pounds you can place on top of the cover? Is there a better options? Thanks

I recommend the PowertraxPRO XR Hard Tonneau Cover # RTX33FR for your 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 Limited AT4. This cover uses 1" thick aluminum slats giving it a weight capacity of up to 500lbs when evenly distributed. The T-slots in the side rails will allow you to add accessories such as crossbars, ladder racks or cargo baskets from Thule, Yakima and Rhino Rack. There is also a built in light that is operated by the key fob so when you need help seeing inside the bed. The light will automatically shut off after 3-5 minutes preventing your battery from being drained if accidently left on.
Best of all this cover is made in the USA and comes with a Lifetime Warranty. The Pace Edwards Bedlocker # 311-M-BLCA28A59 only has a 3-year warranty and they do not advertise a weight capacity as it is not recommended to place anything on top of this tonneau cover.
