Remote-controlled, retractable tonneau cover opens and closes in under 30 seconds. Cover locks at any point along rails, and it fits over most fifth-wheel hitches. Powder coated aluminum panels with silicon hinges provide superior water resistance.

Specs:
The Bedlocker retractable tonneau cover protects your cargo and truck bed from the elements. This electric cover opens and closes easily with a key fob remote, and it can stop and lock anywhere along the bed to provide custom protection for your cargo. Heavy-duty aluminum panels with weather-resistant silicon hinges keep water and debris out of your truck bed, and they help to protect your cargo from theft. The low-profile cover also installs easily without drilling.
This electric, retractable tonneau cover is powered by a motor that wires directly to your vehicle's battery. The included key fob remote activates the motor and allows you to open or close the cover in under 30 seconds. An electro-magnetic brake stops and locks the cover at any point along the rails for customized cargo protection. Press the Open button on the remote to retract the cover into the canister. Simply release the button to trigger the electro-magnetic brake and lock the cover in at the desired position. Press the Closed button to deploy the cover. There is an optional manual switch available (sold separately) that allows you to operate the cover from the cab of your truck or at the tailgate.
A manual release is located on the canister in case of remote control or power failure. Simply pull out the manual release lever, and engage the kickstand behind it. This allows you to deploy and retract the cover by hand until power is restored to your vehicle.
The cover retracts into a compact, angled canister located at the front of your truck bed. This canister protects the retracted cover from the elements, and with the cover stored in the canister you'll have unrestricted visibility out of your rear window. The angled design of the canister also allows for maximum clearance for your tools and cargo so there is no need to remove the cover to haul cargo.
Water Management System
The Bedlocker rails feature a water management system that channels excess water into the canister. This prevents water from getting into your bed or freezing in your tonneau cover rails during cold temperatures. Drain tubes attached to the bottom of the canister remove water through the OE drain holes in the floor of your truck bed.
Flush-Mount Design
The Bedlocker side rails mount level with your truck bed rails for a flush appearance. This flush-mount design is aerodynamic to reduce wind drag, and it helps to improve gas mileage when cover is closed. Even with the flush-mount design, the cover fits over most fifth-wheel trailer hitches. Note: The highest point of the fifth-wheel hitch must be at least 2" below the bed rails.
The cover is constructed of interlocking aluminum panels with a matte black powder coat finish. A silicon weather hinge creates a tight seal between each panel to prevent water and dirt from entering the truck bed. A barrier seal at the tailgate prevents water from entering truck bed through the rear. The rails are constructed of extruded aluminum with a black powder coat finish.
Security
The Bedlocker provides excellent protection for your cargo when used in conjunction with a closed and locked tailgate. The durable aluminum panels are better at preventing theft when compared with soft covers that can be cut or punctured with a knife. The panels are also more effective at preventing theft than tri-fold hard tonneau cover because the panels cannot be pried open at any point along the rails.
No-Drill Installation
To install the cover, place the canister on a support at the bulkhead of the truck. Run the wiring harness from the canister to your vehicle's battery. Do not connect the harness to your battery until the rest of the installation is complete.
Attach the rails to the canister, then secure the rails to your truck bed side rails using 2 clamps per side. Slide the clamp onto the rail, flip the pivot arm up so it is under the bed rail lip, and tighten the clamp in place. Shims are included for trucks with tapered beds.
Each clamp at the tailgate end of the rails has a supplemental kickstand to help level the rails and prevent overtightening during installation. To install the kickstand, simply slide it into the grip handle at the bottom of the clamp. Rotate the kickstand so the foot rests squarely against the side wall of the truck bed, and tighten in place. Once the kickstands are installed, attach the drain tubes to the canister and route each tube out of the OEM drain holes in the floor of your bed. Complete the installation by mounting the top cover plate over the canister and connecting the wiring harness to the battery.

Colin: Hi, everyone. It's Colin here at etrailer. Today, we're going to take a look at Pace-Edwards' line of retractable hard tonneau covers. Now, as you can see, it's working right now. This is a really high-quality cover. It's got an electrical motor where we can just open it and close it at the touch of button with included remotes. Now, like I said, this is going to a very high-quality cover.
Just being able to open and close your cover at the touch of a button is a really convenient feature. We no longer have to undo a latch when we open up our tailgate and pull the cover all the way open, whether we've got a canister, maybe you got a hard roll-up cover, and you have to roll that all the way up to the cab. Even those trifold covers with the aluminum panels get heavier as it comes back.By the touch of a button, maybe your arms are full of cargo that you want to go to throw in the bed of your pickup, instead of having to set all that down and then open up your cover till we get it all in, all you got to do is reach in your pocket, press the open button on your remote. Your cover is going to open up. Now you can access your truck bed.
You don't even have to open up the tailgate either if you just want to grab something out.You know what's nice about that is if you have loads that are going to be propped up on your tailgate instead of keeping it open, you could just go ahead and close your cover up to the point where it's going to make contact with the box. Right before it does, we'll just click the open button to stop it. You can actually travel with it in this position. Now, a couple of things that I really like about this cover, besides fact that I can open it with a touch of a button, it's a hard cover. So, you can see we've got really durable aluminum slats, making the cover very rigid and tough. It's going to help deter theft.
It's also going to have a very low profile look to it. It's not one of those covers that's going to stick 1", maybe 1-1/2", above your truck bed. At it's tallest points, we're barely at 1/2" right here. So, you're really not even going to notice it when you're looking out your rearview mirror. It's also going to help improve your fuel economy.Another thing that's great about it is that you're no losing any of that visibility when you want to open up your cover.
So, as we open it up, with a hard roll-up cover, you would roll that all the way up to your window right here, but that would be taking up about half that visibility. So, I won't be able to see everything that's behind you. Whereas with our canister option fully open, we have access to our truck bed, and we're not losing any visibility. Now, what you do want to keep in mind, though, is that the canister is taking up some space on the inside of your truck bed. However, you can see underneath, there's still space to store stuff as long as you're not making contact with those drain tubes. So, you got some smaller toolboxes, maybe some boots that you want to throw underneath the canister, you have that option, so you can use that space. This is going to come with two drain tubes so that if any water would we're to build up inside your canister, it has an option to drain out without going on the inside of your truck bed. Now, we've got our power cord ready here. We have our connection made. We just have a cord coming out of our canister from the motor. Then our cord right here, we have run through our stay-pocket hole. It goes down to the frame of our truck. We ran it up to our engine bay, and then ran it over to our battery to draw that power. Now, there's also a cord right here. This is an optional switch that you're going to install on the inside your truck. So, if you're on the inside, you know that you're going to have to access your truck bed and you need that tonneau cover open, you can just flip that switch inside your truck bed, and then it's be open when you get out of your truck to utilize that truck bed space. We have two clamps on each side rail making sure our tonneau cover's side rails stay secure against our truck bed. What's nice is that our rear clamps actually include this kickstand right here to make sure that the back of our cover right here stays level with the front. That ensures that our cover is operating smoothly, and it's not going to grind inside the rails. The entire cover, including our cap right here and our side rails, is a really nice matte black powder coat finish that offers a really stylish look to add to your truck. It's also going to help and resist that rust and corrosion. So, it's going to be around a long time.We do have a nice weather seal on the back of the cover. Right here, it's making contact with our tailgate, so it's going to help ensure that the elements stay out of your truck bed. That combined with the toughness of and the durability of the cover, it's going to help your contents protected. There is a manual override switch right here. All we got to do is pull up this lever. That will disengage the motor, and we just property it up. This is handy for times where maybe your battery has died and you need to open up your cover. You just pull that switch up and then close it or open it manually. Now, our truck right here is already equipped for some lights to be able to illuminate the bed of our pickup in case we don't want to open up the cover. However, if your truck does not have that, we got other options available here at etrailer if you just want to throw up a couple of lights. That way when you open up your tailgate, you can just turn them on, and you got vision inside the bed of your pickup.Overall, thing's a really nice cover from Pace-Edwards. We got another electrical retractable tonneau cover on website. Its' from Retrax. inaudible 00:05:05 just kind of compare them. They both operate, obviously, with the remote where you can open and close it with a touch of a button. The one thing I will stay about the Retrax that's a little nicer is that they have a spiral track system on the inside of their canister. So, when the cover is opening, it doesn't roll up on itself. It has its own little canister where it rolls up. It stays in that spiral system to where it's not going contact with itself while it's in the canister. The Pace-Edwards, it does just roll up on itself. However, there's really not too much worry about with it. It's not really going to damage itself at all. Now, one thing that nice about the Pace-Edwards is that one, it's more economical. It's going to be a little bit more affordable. Like I pointed out earlier, I like how we have these kickstand clamps right here to make sure that our cover stays level, especially our side rails right here. It's going to ensure that our cover operates smoothly throughout it opening and closing.Well, I appreciate you all for watching, and I hope this information helps you out. That will do it for our look at the line of Pace-Edwards hard retractable tonneau covers.

Remote-controlled, retractable tonneau cover opens and closes in under 30 seconds. Cover locks at any point along rails, and it fits over most fifth-wheel hitches. Powder coated aluminum panels with silicon hinges provide superior water resistance. My last truck had the Pace Edwards Bedlocker, so when I got a newer truck I had to get another Bedlocker. Great security. Electric opening without a key. To someone wanting to break into the bed there’s no apparent way to open it.
Installation went good and it opens/closes smoothly as of today Monday 8/26/2024. Customer service was fantastic when I called them twice.
The cover does not work for carbon pro bed, even though in 2 places in your website it confirmed it did. We had to repackage and return. Your website needs corrected, and no one seemed very concerned. Bad experience. I hope I get my credit in a timely m
Excellent, as always!
I was looking for the very best for my 2022 Chevy Silverado 3500HD High Country and when you want the best, you get Pace Edwards. I've owned other brands before on other trucks such as Roll-n-Lock and ReTrax and both are great products, but for this truck, I wanted nothing but the best. With the track record and quality that comes with Pace Edwards, this is why they are the top of the line. I installed this cover completely by myself, a helper would have been nice to have, I was able to get it done with no issues.
The cover fits perfectly and looks like it was supposed to be there. etrailer's customer support is always top notch and the representative I spoke with on the phone made it so easy to order, she was very friendly and helpful. Everything came well packaged and undamaged. The 2 included remotes are nice, but I also ordered to sets of the accessory wired switch kit. I wired them together, sending 1 switch up front, inside the cab. The other to the back corner of the bed wired up to a weatherproof switch. I spent more time on the wiring than I did installing the cover.
The only thing that kinda bugs me (and this is 100% personal preference NOT an issue with the product) is the tailgate seal at the edge of the cover, the shape and design of the seal is such that it's a double wall flap with a hollow center. Now they may have intended it to sit on top of the edge of the tailgate, but I prefer how it looks butted up against the tailgate like a door seal, which makes a U shape. However I have to keep pushing it down to keep it flat across the back. I may end up sliding a small round piece of weatherproof foam inside, all the way across to create more of an bicycle tire affect, the foam keeps the seal "inflated" while pressure holds it tight when closed up. But that's just me.
Overall, VERY pleased with the products and service. The cover and wiring harness are both high quality, comparable to GM factory. I highly recommend this, well worth the money.
looks and works great!!! easy install fit my 2024 gmc sierra 3500hd denali perfectly
I love this tonneau. I would reccomed going with this model, but getting the tracks that support their racks. It was Covid time and stock was short. I was lucky to get this one. I would go with 4.5. I think they should have put a more powerful motor. Sometimes it doesn't have the power to open all the way. On another note etrailer was awesome. The rails were bent when the shipment came, they took rails out of there last one in stock and sent them so I could get it installed before my cross country trip.
Great tonneau cover. One year later and still functions like new.
The remote doesn’t always work. Sometimes you have to jar or push in the cover to get it to engage.
Real good all in all. Does rub in the holding box whenever it’s all the way rolled in. Minor, but rubs.
great product. exactly what i expected and easier than imagined to install.
Great product, easy install no more removing tools every night!
After getting all of the parts I can put it in now
