Does Brake Controller Install in 2014 Chevy Suburban Same as 2018 Chevy Express Van

Question:

I have a prodigy p2 on my 2014 Chevrolet Suburban. I would like to move it to a 2018 Chevrolet Express 3500 van with tow package. Is the GM wiring harness/connector the same or no? Any insight you can provide for me to move to another tow vehicle? Thanks

The Prodigy P2 part # 90885 installs the same between your 2014 Chevy Suburban and your 2018 Chevy Express 3500 van as there isn't a connector that it would plug into under the dash and instead uses 4 blunt cut wires that are present there. So you do not need any additional components to swap the controller to your new vehicle.
