Does this hitch require drilling

The Curt # 13088 will require absolutely no drilling to get installed on your 1996 Nissan Pathfinder. This will bolt right into factory weld nuts that are already in your frame, so it's a nice easy install.
With that being said, these weld nuts can get clogged up with debris over time, so you may need to clean them out before the install. This is pretty common and all you need to do is soak them with WD40 and then scrub them out with something like the Nylon Tube Brush # 814092. This is usually all that is needed, but in more severe cases I have had to tell people to use a thread chaser to get all the gunk out. That's pretty rare though.
