Weight Capacity of Westin PRO TRAXX 5 Inch Step Bars

Question:
Weight capacity of 5” protraxx Westin nerf bars

Expert Reply:
Due to the varied materials that vehicles are currently being constructed of, the limiting factor when it comes to weight capacity are the vehicle's attachment points. Because of this, Westin no longer publishes weight ratings for their step bar products like the # 21-54135 PRO TRAXX step bars you'd looked at.
Years ago when they did publish that information, the capacity was typically between 300 and 350 lbs for the bars themselves but as I stated the vehicle's construction could potentially limit that.
