Question:

Hi. Im looking for a wiring harness that installs in the bed of my new 2022 Silverado 2500. I have the prep package and will be getting the B&W gooseneck ball kit, but I don't want the wiring hanging over my tailgate. It kind of messed the top of the tailgate on my last truck so I dont want that to happen again. What do you recommend?

Right off the bat, the American made B&W Ball and Safety Chain Kit # BWGNXA2061 is a great option and will serve you well. The 30,000 pound capacity and lifetime warranty are just a couple more pluses for this kit.

As to the wiring, I recommend going with the Hopkins Endurance 90-Degree Wiring Harness # 41157. This will plug right into your factory wiring, making it a pretty easy install. The door flap on this is also robust and I have found it to be a long lived product. Using this will definitely keep the wiring from damaging your tailgate again.
