Can A Front Mount Hitch Be Installed On A 2021 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited With A Blue Ox Base Plate?

Depending on what you were planning on using the front hitch for, I may have an alternate solution available, but as the Curt Front Mount Hitch # C31086 will install in the same place and sit in the same place as the Blue Ox Base Plate # BX1139 on your 2021 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, you will not be able to have both attached at the same time, unfortunately. I was hoping I could find a work around for you, but both options will be competing for the exact same space. I checked with the Draw-Tite # 65079 as well, but ran into the same issue.

The only way to have both installed will be to remove your current # BX1139 base plate and then upgrade you bumper to an off-road option that has D-Ring attachments. You can then installed the # C31086 hitch and go with something like the Blue Ox Aftermarket Bumper Adapter # BX88358 for a 1" pin diameter, or # BX88357 for a 7/8" pin diameter. Not a great solution for sure, but it will be the only way to get them working together.

As to the alternate solution, if you were going to be using the hitch to mount a winch, check out the Rampage Mass Articulation Front Recovery Bumper # RA88509. Though this does have D-Rings, it isn't rated for use for flat towing but it does have a winch plate. This would negate the need of the hitch if this was its intended purpose.
