For a great hitch for your 2021 Jeep Wrangler for towing, I recommend the Draw-Tite - 2" # DT78MR. The Draw-Tite comes with the highest gross towing weight capacity we offer (4,500 pounds). In addition to the weight capacity, the Draw-Tite comes with an e-coat finish in addition to the black powder coat for superior protection against rust and corrosion. In addition to the hitch, I recommend a ball mount like the one included in the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989892.

As far as wiring, if you need just brake lights/signal lights alone, I recommend the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118786. The T-One is a premium wiring harness that has a higher-quality power converter than other harnesses.. If you are looking to add a brake controller to the trailer, you will need the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller - 7-Way RV and 4-Way Flat # ETBC7 in addition to the T-One.

To add a brake controller, I recommend the Tekonsha Voyager # 39510 or the Curt Echo # C51180. Both of these controllers are proportional controllers that will activate the trailer breaks based on your braking action in the cab. The Voyager is more of a traditional-style controller than requires mounting into the dashboard of your vehicle near the steering wheel. You will have to use the plug-in # 20127 to install it easily into your dash. On the other hand, the Curt Echo allows you to control the settings of your controller with the ease of your Smart device.
