Will the TruXedo TonneauMate Work with the RetraxPRO MX on My 2022 Ford F-350 Long Bed?

Question:

2022 Ford F350 DRW Long bed Will the TruXedo’s TonneauMate work with a Retrax Pro MX rolling cover? The toolbox appears to mount under the cover rails so I am thinking it could work with almost any truck bed cover with rails?

I went ahead and contacted my tech at TruXedo, and she said that even though the TonneauMate # TX1117416 is confirmed to fit your 2022 Ford F-350 DRW 8-foot bed, TruXedo has not tested the TonneauMate specifically with the RetraxPRO MX Hard Tonneau Cover RT80387. However, judging by the fact that the RetraxPRO MX sits 1 inch above the bed rails, you will have enough room to place the toolbox underneath the cover.

With that being said, you will be limited to install the TonneauMate in the middle or rear of your truck's bed. This is because the RetraxPRO MX has a canister where it stores the retracted cover near the cab of your F-350.

If you wish to go with a different tonneau cover that will allow the TonnneauMate to install as close as possible to your cab, I recommend the TruXedo Lo Pro Soft Roll-up Tonneau Cover - Black # TX579601. The Lo Pro does not have the cylinder near the cab that will interfere with the installation of the TonneauMate in the front location.
