The base plate kit that I recommend for your 2021 Chevrolet Traverse is the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit # RM-523200-5. This base plate kit will work whether you have the adaptive cruise control or not, is made in the USA and will allow you to use a direct connect tow bar which is easier to use than a crossbar style. I have included a list of the other parts that you will need to flat tow, along with my recommendation for each part.

Tow Bar and Safety Cables: Roadmaster Nighthawk All Terrain # RM-676. This tow bar works with the base plate recommended above and includes the safety cables so you will not need to get those seperately.

Tow Bar Wiring: Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267. This will allow you to accept your RV's tail, brake, and turn signal lights for flat towing.

Supplemental Braking System: Demco Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System # DM86VR. This will allow you to travel with and stop your flat towed vehicle safely.
