Question:

Hello, I am looking to buy this roof rack track for my Ford Transit Connect 2020, and I was wondering if I would need any extra parts in order to mount my Rhino-Rack awning to it. This is the track I am looking to buy: Rhino Rack RTC16 This is the awning I have that I already bought from etrailer. Rhino Rack RR32132 I appreciate your time in helping me out with this.

I spoke with Rhino-Rack and their tech stated they only recommend installing the Rhino-Rack Sunseeker Awning # RR32132 into a crossbar and have not tested it in the c-channel of the Rhino-Rack RTC-Style Roof Rack Tracks - Channel Mount - 63" Long - Qty 2 # RTC16 as they are slightly larger than their crossbar c-channels.

For this I recommend the Track Mount RLTP Legs # RLTP-2 and the Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars - Aluminum - Black - 71" Long - Qty 2 # RRVA180B-2. The # RLTP-2 legs will mount to the # RTC16 channel allowing you to then install the # RRVA180B-2 crossbars. Once these are installed you can check out the video for the Sunseeker Awning # RR32132 where Adam will walk you through the easy peasy installation of this awning into the c-channel of the crossbars.
