re the 2017 Ford Focus - EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - 2. Multiple locations near me state they can only install a 1 1/4 receiver on our sedan. Id prefer the 2inch but need to make sure its not trim specific.

The EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - 2" # 306-X7355 you referenced is for a 2017 Ford Focus Hatchback RS. For a sedan you unfortunately will be limited to a 1-1/4" receiver. I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class I - 1-1/4" # C11158. Curt manufactures their hitch in the US and is known to have a more reliable powder coating than their competitor Draw-Tite. This longer lasting coating will increase the longevity of your hitch and prevent rust and corrosion.
