Does the Yakima EXO SwingBase Swing Away Hitch Extender Reduce Tongue Weight Capacity?

My hitch has an overall weight capacity of 350 lbs. Does this swing out arm reduce the capacity by 50? If so, that doesnt leave much weight for accessories and gear.

The Yakima EXO SwingBase Swing Away Hitch Extender item # Y34VR you were looking at does not reduce your tongue weight capacity by 50%. The only reduction it would cause to your 350 lbs capacity would be the 65 lbs weight of the EXO SwingBase itself.
If you are looking for accessories the Yakima GearWarrior Cargo Carrier for Modular EXO System item # Y37VR is 60" Long x 23" Wide and can hold up to 250 lbs of cargo.
The Yakima DoubleUp 2 Bike Rack for Modular EXO System item # Y24VR is also a great accessory and can carry two 50 lbs bikes.
