Do Trailer Suspension Shock Kits Work Well if Shock is At Angle
Updated 11/22/2021 | Published 11/21/2021 >
Question:
Looking for a shock kit that does not put the shock tube so horizontal. The pictures of your kit shows the same angle as my stock setup and they are nearly ineffective at that angle. Does anyone make a kit that is more vertical? Thank you,

As long as the dampening and compression is set properly with the shock it wouldn't matter much if the shock is straight up and down or if was angled. The angle allows for more clearance when compressed since it somewhat moves out of it's way more to allow more travel. So the dampening and compression would just need to compensate for a slower movement that is shorter and it would still perform. That is why our kits like the part # LC281281 still work great although the shock is at an angle.
