Will the mosquito zapper also attract and kill gnats and biting flies?

I spoke to my contact at Wilmar Corp, he said that the Rechargeable Mosquito Zapper and Lantern - 180 Lumens - 500V # AT84VR should kill gnats and biting flies if they were to get close enough to the zapper. The # AT84VR is not designed to attract gnats and biting flies, but the lantern could attract them when it is on.
