Will Thule Pack 'n Pedal Basket for Bike Racks # TH100050 Fit a RAD

Question:
Will the mounting clamps for this fit onto an extra-thick bike rack? I have a RAD Mini ebike and the bike rack on it has tubes that are much beefier than typical bike racks, about 1/2inch thick.
