If no lights are coming on when you plug your trailer into your 2007 Chevy Silverado 1500, new body style, there are a few fuses you will need to check. The fuse box that has all the trailer functions is the one located under the hood, and I did include a diagram as well as the number location and function below.
Fuse 1: Right Trailer Stop/ Turn Lamp
Fuse 3: Left Trailer Stop/ Turn Lamp
Fuse 6: Trailer Brake Controller
Fuse 10: Trailer Back-up Lamps
Fuse 25: Trailer Park Lamps
You can technically skip checking the Fuse 6: Trailer Brake Controller, but since you will already be in there, it doesn't hurt to make sure.
If all your fuses look good, or if replacing them does not get the lights working, you may need to replace your 7 Way with something like the Hopkins 7- and 4-Pole Trailer Connector Socket # HM40975.
