Will The Redarc BCDC Battery Charger Function With Solar Power While The Vehicle Ignition Is Off

Question:
Does the solar charge work/ pass through even when the ignition /run is off? If so does it charge both battery banks or just house?

I spoke with the manufacturer, Redarc, and their tech stated that the Redarc In-Vehicle BCDC Battery Charger - Dual Input - DC to DC - 12V/24V - 40 Amp # 331-BCDC1240D will charge the auxiliary (house) battery using solar power even if the vehicle's ignition is off. It will not charge the start (vehicle) battery though.
