Will The Draw-Tite 75521 Fit A 2007 GMC Sierra Classic 1500 With Aftermarket Bumper?

Question:

I have ordered a new bumper for my truck, and everything looks right for excepting the Draw Tite #75521, but because it is an after market bumper I want to make sure this hitch will work. The new bumper has 4 brackets. Two that go from the end of the bumper to the frame and two that down. If the after market bumper brackets line up like original then is there any thing else I would have to worry about. Should I be able to tell about fit when I get the new bumper. The center holes measure correctly on the #75521 for my truck. Thanks for any help.

If the bumper you ordered is a direct factory replacement, then there should be no issues with getting the Draw-Tite # 75521 hitch installed. Unfortunately, if it is not a factory replacement, we can't guarantee the fitment. All the hitches we carry are designed from the manufacturer to fit stock vehicle and parts.

With that being said, you should be able to tell pretty quickly if the new bumper will accept the hitch. I included an install video we did on an 07 Sierra for you to check out as you will be able to see exactly how this will install. It should be noted that the # 75521 will need to be bolted to the new bumper as well, so it is definitely something to keep in mind.
