Will Fulton Black Plastic Trailer Fender # F008551 Fit with 5.30-12 Inch Trailer Tires

Question:

Will this fender work F008551 with 5.30-12 tires? I believe those are considered 12inch tires the rims are 12, but their diameter is significantly larger than that. Or would it be better to go with the same type of fender for 13inch inch wheels, such as F008553? I measured the orignal metal fenders and theyre a lot bigger than these plastic fenders. From the measurement specifications for these plastic fenders, it looks like they sit higher and cover less of the wheel. That seems fine if you can verify those are the correct fenders for a 5.30-12 tire.

For the specific measurements of this fender, please take a look at the picture I have provided and compare them to the available space you have on the trailer to determine if there will be any fit issues with a 5.30-12 trailer tire.

The diameter of a 5.30-12 trailer tire is 21.9 inches and, of course, it is 5.30 inches wide. A lot depends on the specific trailer design and how it is constructed. Based on the measurements of a 5.30-12 tire going with a larger fender, like # F008553, would be a better fit.
