Question:

I need 4inch wide U bolts to fit my roof rack, but dont know if the knobs that come with the Aero 1300 will screw onto these U bolts, nor if the bolts are as long as the standard bolts that come with the Aero 1300 about 3inch I think. Can you tell me if these would work for me? I dont want to buy the whole replacement hardware kit for the SportRack I just want U-Bolts for better security.

The replacement u-bolt # TH02943 is an M6 (6mm). You would need to use knob # TH04877 which can also be used a replacement for the SportRack Aero 1300 cargo box. The knobs that came with your cargo box should have no problems screwing onto these u-bolts.
