Thickness Of The Diamondstep Rear Bumper Part # 20009

Question:
Id like to know the thickness of the steel plate on this bumper. My plan is to weld a swing-arm spare tire mount and attach it to the bumper so I can move the spare from inside the Suburban and gain some interior space. This bumper looks like a solution to my problem. Thank you.
