2021 Ford Ranger XLT super cab 5 foot bed Just wondering since it doesnt have a key, how secure is it? How easy/difficult is it to open if tailgate is up and locked.

When the tailgate is up and locked on your 2021 Ford Ranger with a 5 foot bed, it will be an absolute chore to open the Pace Edwards Switchblade Retractable Hard Tonneau Cover # 311-SWFA30A61.
While the Switchblade isn't impenetrable, it has aluminum panels so it can't be easily punctured, is tightly clamped to the bottom of your bed rails and sits flush with the sides of your rails so it also can't just be opened up or removed. Essentially, when you have the Switchblade # 311-SWFA30A61 installed on your Ranger, the only way somebody's getting in your truck bed is if they are using tools and specifically trying to break into it.
So long as you keep your Ranger's tailgate locked, the Switchblade cover will do as good a job as any to keep its bed secure.
