Question:
What's the difference between the curt and etrailer hitch for my 2021 chevy colorado? trying to decide between the two.

There are two options available, the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver, # e98909 with a matte black finish and the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver, # C13176 with a gloss black powder coat finish. Both are class III, 2" hitches.
The Curt, # C13176 having a glossy black finish while the etrailer # e98909 hitch has a matte black finish is the only significant difference. Other than finish everything is equal, such as their 6,000 lb. towing/900 lb. tongue weight capacities, as well as the installation process. Both have hidden cross-tubes which means only the receiver is showing. My suggestion, if finish is not important, is to go with the most cost effective option.
