Does B and W Hitch # BWHDRH25230 Have Same Weight Capacity when Used with Weight Distribution
Published 10/04/2021 >
Question:
The Maximum Gross Trailer/Tongue rating are listed the same with and without Weight distribution hitch. Is this correct or is there a misprint? Also will the factory 7way bumper mount on 01’ F350 work with this hitch?

Expert Reply:
Some hitches do have higher weight ratings if they are used with a weight distribution system but some do not and the numbers are the exact same. This is the case for the B and W hitch # BWHDRH25230. It has really high capacities of 16,000 lbs total trailer weight and 1,600 lbs tongue weight.
