Power Wiring Differences between Jensen RV Stereo 910 and JWM60A RV Stereo
Updated 09/29/2021 | Published 09/28/2021 >
Question:
I think I have the speaker wires figured out but Im not sure about several other wires. On the 910 the power supply is +12v DC negative ground, does this connect to the 62A ground wire? On the 910 12v DC ignition power and the 12v DC battery power wires are connected together, how do they connect to the 62A wiring? On the 62A are 3 wires, power input 12v DC 10a, amp remote 12v DC 100mA and a 12v DC switched. How do these connect to the 910 wiring? Thanks for any help on this problem.

So the 12 volt ignition power wire is what the radio uses to tell it that the vehicle is on and to turn on the radio or "wake up" this can be wired to say power source that powers the radio if you like.
So on the new stereo the names of these circuits are slightly different but basically you'd run the dc switched circuit and the power input dc 10 amp circuits together and to same wires that your old stereo ran to that were together. The third wire that says amp remote would be if you had a separate amp setup like for subwoofers that you needed an activation circuit for.
