Question:

I just bought a Thor Majestic 23 A from Cruise America. Can I install a roof ladder on the back and if so what do you recomend?

An exterior ladder can be added to virtually any motorhome, including your Thor Majestic. What it really comes down to is knowing the backing/framing locations to be able to drill into on your rig's block or sub frame, which you'll have to use a stud finder for, or contact Thor to get the info of where that is. If you are able to find that you can then use a ladder from Stromberg-Carlson:

This is a 99-1/2 inch tall x 12 inch wide ladder but you can cut the rungs for a customizable length. I have added a link below to the installation instructions for you to check out. There is another option I wanted to mention, which doesn't require any installation at all and will still allow you to get to the top of your Thor's roof, which is a telescopic ladder:

This ladder extends up to 12 feet but collapses to just 32 inches so it is easy to store in your rig, and the benefit of this is that it does not require any type of installation or drilling into your new motorhome.
