Question:

In real cold weather, I need to supplement my 4-season, forced air furnace with a Mr Buddy heater. What maximum length and what style braided steel or ?? of hose do you recommend? Connecting to a 20# tank. Also, is a regulator static or adjustable recommended? Thank you ??

The manufacturer only recommends propane hoses up to 12' in length with the Mr. Heater Buddy. I recommend the MB Sturgis Quick Disconnect Propane Hose for Small Appliance # 100476-72-MBS for the connection to your heater and from that to the propane tank the Propane Quick-Disconnect Hose w/ Regulator # 37207-31275 which has a built in regulator.

As for the material type of the hose I recommend just going with rubber. The hose isn't going to be in direct heat so you don't really need the extra shielding. For the regulator it's really just preference between the static and adjustable. The regulator on the hose I recommended is static so you won't be able to adjust this.
