Question:
I have a home built tear trailer that i made with 2 inch thick doors. Is it possible to use this lock assembly on a thicker door if i change out the screws? Or is there a lock set that can be suggested as an alternative?

I contacted the manufacturer and the closest option they have for your situation is the Bauer Products Motorhome Door Lock, # BA64FR. Their line of BP12 latches is listed as fitting doors that are 1-1/4" to 1-1/2" thick. They stated that it can actually be made to fit up to 1-13/16".
