Hello! I used the 2017 F350 with #DM8550032 and # DM8551009. I want to buy the 2022 F350 with factory prep for the 5th wheel hitch. What is the difference between #DM6040 and #DM6005? What parts do I need to buy for #DM6005 to fit #DM8550032 into an 8ft Ford F350 bed factory prep for the 5th hitch? Best

Since you have a Demco Hijacker DM8550032 that was designed to fit their underbed mount system the kit you need to convert your hitch to fit the OEM rail kit of your 2022 Ford F-350 would be the side plate kit part # DM6040. This would essentially turn your hitch into the part # DM8550033 which fits the rail kit directly.
