How are Fulton Plastic Top and Side Step Fenders Attached to Trailer

Question:

I purchased a set of silver dual step Fulton Plastic Fenders for my 21foot EZloader trailer. It has 225-70 15r tires. Originally the trailer had the square aluminum bolt on fenders that were beyond repair. How do I go about getting these mounted? Im at a loss. Thanks.

I'd be happy to help you with that.

For starters, the # F008584-2 fenders you'd looked at are designed for 14 inch wheels, you'd be better served going with the # F008585-2 which are designed for 15 inch wheels like the ones you have.

You'll need two sets of # PF1135-BKT-2 mounting brackets that use u-bolts to mount to the trailer frame. The u-bolts you need would need to be tall and wide enough to fit around the frame member of your trailer.

I'll provide a photo that'll give you an idea of how the brackets work.

I think these will work for me. Just need to know correct brackets to order and u-bolts. I have a PWC trailer with no fenders. It has 14" wheels and the rails are 2" x 3" box beam. Can you provide the right part numbers?

@JohnW A pair of brackets is available as # PF1135-BKT-2. You'll need two brackets per fender. The exact U-bolts needed will depend on the height of the frame member you're attaching the bracket to. The center to center hole spacing on the brackets is 3-5/8 inches so you'll want U-bolts with a span close to that. The holes in the bracket are slotted, so you'll have a bit of wiggle room.
