Question:
Is the button with this kit weatherproof, I would like to mount it in forward edge of wheelwell so I cant accidentally lock myself out with battery off and button inside while flat towing.

The Replacement Switch for Roadmaster Automatic Battery Disconnect, part # RM57ZR, is not weatherproof. One of the installation requirements of the Roadmaster Automatic Battery Disconnect with Switch for Towed Vehicle w/ Supplemental Braking System, part # RM-766, is that it needs to be protected from direct road spray. In my opinion, the wheel well would provide too much spray and the switch and/or solenoid would get wet.
I have included a product description link, a video demo, and a copy of the Roadmaster Automatic Battery Disconnect instructions below.
