How far apart should my roof racks be placed on my 2020 Volkswagen atlas cross sport? They are currently spaced approximately 32-36 inches apart. I have a lot of wind sounds currently and I am wondering if they were not installed correctly.

I checked with Rhino-Rack and the crossbar spacing for their roof rack on a 2020 VW Atlas Cross Sport should be between 27-9/16" and 31-1/2". The correct fit is the following:
- Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars # RRVA137B-2
- Rhino-Rack SX Series Legs # RR64VJ
Even if you have the crossbars with the correct spacing, there may still be wind noise, and by far the best option to remedy that is with a wind fairing:
