How to Determine if Derale Transmission Cooler Kit Fits 2015 Ford Flex

Question:

The manufacturer lists this cooler D13402 on their list for a 2015 Ford Flex? Why does it not show on etrailer when I search for coolers for that application?

Though I was unable to find where Derale listed that cooler as a fit, the reason we don't is because of its 2 inch depth, which is quite a bit, and its -6 AN fittings. Since aftermarket transmission coolers are universal fits and not technically for any specific vehicle, we base our fits on the best option for specific vehicle types as well as the fittings needed, and for your 2015 Ford Flex, that is different than the one you mentioned.

So the better option for your '15 Flex is the Derale Series 8000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler Kit w/Barb Inlets # D13501.
