Will Revolver X4 Tonneau Cover Work w/ MultiPro Tailgate on 2021 GMC Sierra 1500 w/ 6-1/2 Foot Bed

Question:
Will the bak revolver x4 interfere with the open/close operation of the GMC Multipro tailgate? I have heard conflicting reports of that the cover might need to be opened first in some cases in order for the tailgate to properly close.
