Will the Performance Tool Folding Wheel Step fit a BF Goodrich 275/70R17 tire? The vendors description says that it will fit a tire up to 13 inch wide. Could you help me with the true tire width that this step can handle? Thank you.

So the Performance Tool Folding Wheel Step # PT68ZR will easily fit your tire size of 275/70-17 since that's much narrower than the max width of this rack. Your tire is less than 11 inches wide and the # PT68ZR will fit tires up to 13 inches. This does not go all the way over to the other side of the inner tire and basically just rests on the inner shoulder is how it is able to fit the narrower width.
