Question:

two questions: Im looking for solid step for my travel trailer. Im looking at Item # LC733931. My door is 28 inches from flange to flange but 29 1/4 total door opening. E trailers listing says 25inch - 28-7/8inch in one place but also lists 25inch - 29-7/8. Would this be the correct steps for us? Also it is 26 inch ground to floor height. Would that be too low to get a 3 step? My wife suffered a stroke a few years ago and Id like the first step to not be too high for her. At 8 inches per step it seems that the first step would be 10 inches off of the ground with only 2 steps. Thank you.

Because of your concerns with your wife's ability to make a larger first step, I suggest you go with the third step option of the SolidStep, # LC791572. This triple step is designed to fit 25" to 28-7/8" wide doorways as measured from flange-to-flange and an entry height of 27"-36" from ground to the threshold. This will of course put that first step right down to ground level with little rise; legs adjust in 1" increments
