Question:
Is it true that the hitch only has 6inch of clearance when installed? If so, how can you traverse inclined roads without bottoming out the hitch? Also can you purchase the electric module at a later date?

While we haven't had a chance to install the Stealth Hitches Hidden Rack Receiver # 391AUDA4A5S509 on a 2011 Audi S5 and thus don't have the exact clearance numbers, the vehicle is naturally low to the ground at the rear, so it is possible when going over speed bumps and the like, there could be bottoming out. That said, the receiver portion of the hitch is removable, so you should remove it when not in use.
As for the towing kit with the wiring, that can be purchased later on separately from the Stealth Hitches Hidden Rack Receiver # 391AUDA4A5S509; what you would need is the Towing Kit w/ Ball Mount and Trailer Wiring for Stealth Hitches Hidden Rack Receiver # 391CONVA7.
