Compatible with 2012 Toyota Prius C? Prius C is not rated for towing which may prevent it from being listed as compatible?

I spoke with my contact at Curt and he told me that there is a wiring harness that is compatible with your 2012 Toyota Prius C, but the Curt T-Connector wiring harness, # C56156, will not fit your vehicle. This harness was only designed to fit the Prius V.
For your Prius C, you will need the Curt Wiring Harness, # C59496. At this time there are no plug-in wiring harnesses available for your vehicle, so this harness will need to be hardwired. I have attached the installation instructions for you to check out.
As you stated, Toyota states that the Prius C should not be used for towing and doing so could void any warranty that you have on the vehicle.
