Can I Use The Tonneu Cover From My 2014 GMC Sierra Short Bed On A 2009 Chevy Silverado Short Bed

I do have a solution for you, but the tonneau cover that is compatible with the 2014 GMC Sierra short bed, will not be compatible with the 2009 Chevy Silverado short bed. I used the BAKFlip MX4 Hard Tonneau Cover to check to see if the fit was the same on the two trucks.

I compared the fit between the 2014 GMC Sierra 1500 short bed and the 2009 Chevy Siverado short bed. Each of these trucks is compatible with a model of the BAKFlip MX4 Hard Tonneau cover, just not the same model. I am not sure if you could find a way to make it fit, but they have been fit guided too take different tonnneau covers.

The 2009 Chevy Silverado is compatible with the BAKFlip MX4 Hard Tonneau Cover - Folding - Aluminum - Matte Finish part # BAK48100. It is a tri-fold aluminum tonneau cover that attaches inside the bed rails. It is ladder rack compatible with a matte black finish.
