Question:

Question is the width of the boat that will fit on the cross bar. Description suggests it can expand from 48 to 60, but the details suggest the standard width is 48. Will this fit a boat that is 54inch at its widest part? How does it expand to 60? Thanks.

The # RTL002 cannot expand out to 60 inches. Probably the only way to carry a boat that is 54 inches with it would be to turn the boat around so the front of the boat was facing the rear as it may be narrower up there.
