Hi! I have a Nissan Frontier 2012 pro4x4 and I’m also looking for a shorter rack not ladder height that can support my roof top tent! I also would like to use the ultility track in the truck bed for the rack. I have a tonneau cover it would need to be compatible with. Thank you!

The best solution that you have on your 2012 Nissan Frontier is # # Y01152-5868, but you will have to remove your tonneau cover. All ladder racks need to sit on the inside of the rails of the bed of your truck besides the Thule TracRac SR # TH43001XT-603EX which may interfere with your tonneau cover if it sits on the top of your bed rails. If you have a roll up tonneau cover that sits on the inside of your rails like this one # BAK38ZR you could use the TracRac SR, but it is at the height of a normal ladder rack. Unfortunately the tonneau cover you have will determine if you can use the TracRac.
